The Supreme Court of the Maldives today launched an improved and updated website with a new domain; www.supremecourt.mv. The upgrade to the website sees a number of changes to the previous website, with the primary objective being simplifying content, and thus, increasing visibility and accessibility.
A new and improved search functionality on the website makes sorting through the Court’s cases much more efficient, with cases now being searchable by key words relating to cases. This change aims to bring ease of access for journalists, lawyers, and law students alike, in researching Supreme Court cases – especially in finding the decisions of specific cases. The website under the new domain, has an added quick link icon set for easier navigation to the Court’s forms, hearing schedules, various medias, and other frequently accessed content.
