Mr. Paul Mylvaganam, External Consultant to the British High Commission, paid a courtesy call on the Chief Justice of the Republic of Maldives.

The visit to the Supreme Court of the Maldives formed part of Mr. Mylvaganam's official visit to the Maldives to explore potential areas of cooperation and assistance that the Government of the United Kingdom may extend in support of institutional development in the Maldives.

The meeting was held at the Supreme Court of the Maldives at 11:00 a.m. today. The meeting was attended by the Chief Justice of the Republic of Maldives, Hon. Dr. Ahmed Abdulla Didi, Mr. Paul Mylvaganam, Secretary General of the Supreme Court, Dr. Hussain Faiz, and Chancellor of the Judicial Academy, Ustaz Ahmed Majid.

During the meeting, discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, including opportunities for cooperation and capacity-building initiatives that may contribute to the continued development of the judiciary and the administration of justice in the Maldives.

This courtesy visit reflects the ongoing engagement between the Supreme Court of the Maldives and international partners in support of strengthening judicial institutions and promoting the effective administration of justice.
